on the 10th of November i received a parcel from cik suhaila. he he he. my birthday came 11 days earlier this year. a sweater to keep me warm in this cold and uncertain weather. thank you cik suhaila.


on the D-Day, incik Jai Detomaso rang me and asked me out for a dinner. we (jai, fendi and i) had our dinner in a malaysian chinese restautrant. i made some testing somehow on the waiter. to our surprise he replied me "Eh mesti lah saya tahu cakap melayu. saya orang malaysia lah" (eh of course i could converse in malay. i am malaysian). i begin to believe living in a foreign country makes you do thing you rarely do in the homecountry. many of the non-malays less likely to communicate in bahasa melayu but this waiter (in London) has a good command of Bahasa Melayu (and even most of the waiters and waitressess speak/spoke Malay with fellow Malaysians, even with the non-Malays). ouch he is no less chinese either since he later spoke mandrin with some other china chinese guests. to some of my students, if you cannot communicate in bahasa melayu at least at the same level of this waiter, shame on you. :-)


I had nasik lemak chinese style (no pedas one and tak kick but the chicken curry was yummy!). fendi had nasik goreng kampung and i think it was meant for 2 persons. jai had nasik goreng i-could-not-remember. adoi that is sign of aging i reckon. above all we shared schezuan style chicken. sharing is caring isnt it? but most ppl tend to keep everything to themselves and think that they will prosper. i tell you what, it wont work that way anymore in this very millennium.


on the 22nd incik pendi of Uxbridge and i took a bus to Bristol meeting up with incik alex. thank you for inviting me incik alex. he drove to somerset and it was bloody cold and windy. i slept rather early and soundly for more than 10 hours. kesian incik alex cakap sorang sorang. please pardon me as this old lad need at least 12 hours of sleeping. he he he. erm did you see picture on the top right?? that is from incik alex. terima kasih incik alex. may allah grant you with wealth health and good partner (jangan lupa jemput bila nak kawin nanti).

the next day we headed to glostonbury and pictures tell thousand words but there is no way to describe how windy it was that day.

long way to go incik alex oi. i was panting catching up with incik alex. he ran up the hill instead of walking. i guess i have to exercise more.

i am a camera shy. trust me (at least for this time, please. ha ha ha ha)

the view inside the tower. the tor tower was said to be the place where the druids gather and performing some rituals. inick alex told me, even now the practice is still going on. in my mind, i was thinking where to get the hooded robe! ha ha ha ha. The White Gandalf anyone??

half past eleven i think we were at the fleet air arm museum.

i think i should become a steward shouldnt i? then i could marah marah and straighthen the troublesome pessangers! nahhh i dont have the height and i dont always believe 'passenger is always right'. the passenger could be left or bengkang bengkok as well. ha ha ha ha.

ha ha ha ha education is everywhere eh?? but why are having more morons with these racial and religion descrimination sentiments among us?? did the education fail to educate or it is very hard to become educated individuals??

erkk, camera shy again eh incik azrin. yes i am.. ha ha ha ha.

incik pendi of Uxbridge is now in Johore. balik kawin. so Selamat Pengantin Baru Encik Afadi Ahmad. Insya allah lepas Christmas kita ketemu kembali.
