The PLace and The FooD

Dear Blog,

I came here with the help of incik afandi and he consistently helping until to date. I praised Allah as he knows the best what He has for me. afandi always reminds me and never fail to remind me to be patient and taking the challenges and the problems as test form Him. I was made to meet Faizal a/k/a jai who is now my buddy who happened to be on the same plane as i was, heading to heathrow. Jai is a MSc students in Civil Engineering. it was a tiring process to get a place to stay. to anyone who plan to go to the UK, please, renting a place is not as easy like malaysia.

a non self-centered and open handedly malaysian who is a friend to another friend of another fried's friend forwarded me a contact number and this guy seeking a housemate. the place is ideally fit for one person but i asked akmal (the guy) is it okay to cramp both us jai and i, into the house. the answer was yes. i cannot neglect jai as we have been trying finding an accommodation for many days and nights. it is so not right and uncivilized if i choose to leave him and renting together with akmal (and another housemate). so there four of us, 2 undergraduates student (1 imperial college, 1 UCL), jai (MSc Imperial College) and me. so far we are getting along well and the boys are friendly and accordingly they treat the elders. adoi tua sangat rasanya bila dengan group kanak2 ribena yang pandai ni.

i cannot be choosy and demanding living in london. else, i might end up spending more for accommodation than for my tummy, books and travel expenses. (mana nak cekau duit jang). makan (eating) is not an issue here. we have malaysian hall nearby and i had nasik for almost everyday. i will try the local cuisine, yes i will. (well emma i know what you have in your mind! orang islam tak boleh makan b*bi yer cik emma).

the katil, the tilam and the duvet. sorry lah the kaler is so kuning. (the room is lighted using 2 energy-saving bulbs. it looks yellowish in the picture but in real we still can tolerate with the luminance.)

you see! i can have nasi(rice) and kari ayam (chicken curry) and that is why i am not missing malaysia.



nasik lemak with rendang ayam. it costs you 5 pound you know. dont play play ehk.. 30 ringgit for nasik lemak where in KL you can have this for half a month!

i am staying in bayswater and nearby whiteley. what is whiteley?? will tell you later.
