PoSiTIve DisTracTion

dear blog,

so far these are the publication in engineering education i have submitted for review. i hope to hear good news from the editors so that i can extend the news to my students. they have worked hard for these papers and i have three more papers (three more groups) to submit end of this year. these papers could be accepeted or rejected, or resubmit with modification/correction.

Submitted for review:

-ming yoa's group
-afendi's group
-wen jian's paper (conference)
-chin han's group
-tung boon's group (not yet decided where to send, so not in the list yet. the paper is ready somehow)

this engineering education journal papers arent my core study or subject. i am doing it whenever i felt i cannot move with my technical reading (my core PhD study). i find it a positive distraction and hopefully not a beautiful disaster. :-)

some ppl might go for an outing and i dont really like the idea (that much). i am a homely type of person (and that thrash me into a 'boring-type-gentleman-konon-kononnya' classification), but i could be adventorous sometimes, err very seldom to be exact.

i still owe azlis a journal paper. dont worry pal, i will settle the debt A.S.A.P. . i plan to send one paper extracted from my Master Degree thesis. and at the same time boiling the cold temperature to thrust this rusty engine forward. i am catching up with the pace (and the flu.. adoiii!)

Today's plan:

1. Digitize the hand written summary
2. Double check the First Year PhD Planning Report
3. Set appointment with Prof Stratos
4. reading 1 journal paper regarding parametric optimization
5. draft a paper for engineering education

Fail to plan is certainly plan to fail.
